Rules - Sand Drag Racing

Here is a picture of Fred Reep’s Ofna Ultra MBX Pro Sand Racer conversion. Buggy and truggy racers are welcome in the Sand Drag event. Make sure you come prepared with the appropriate Paddle tires installed on your vehicle. The tires used on Fred's Sand Racer are; Front: Proline Sling Shot 1.66 x 4.74 #9019; Rear: Proline MAXX Paddle 3.30 x 6.20 #1084.

All drivers entering the Sand Drag event must bring and wear their own Safety Glasses. (NO EXCEPTIONS)! The dimensions for the sand pit are: 4' x 14' (or) 4' x 20' (each lane), depending on the final space requirements. We have scaled down the dimensions from the "Real" Sand/Mud Race tracks.

1/10 Scale 2wd Truck, Buggy and Sand Rails

1. Front tires shall be Panther Razor T475 or Pro-Line Mohawk #1126

2. Rear Tires shall be Panther T470 Paddle or Pro-Line Sing Shot #1125 or Sand Paw #1052

3. Custom cut paddle will be allowed

4. Any nitro burning engine .12 to .18

1/8 Scale 2wd Trucks

1. Front tires shall be Panther MT Razor T117

2. Rear tires shall be Panther T110 or Pro-Line Maxx Paddle 3.3 x 6.2 # 1084

3. Custom cut paddle will be allowed

4. Any nitro burning engine .12 to .20

1/8 Scale 4wd Small Block Monster Trucks

1. Tires shall be Panther T110 or Pro-Line Maxx Paddle 3.3 x 6.2 # 1084

2. Custom cut paddle will be allowed

3. Any nitro burning engine .12 to .20

1/8 Scale 4wd Big Block Monster Trucks

1. Tires shall be Panther T110 or Pro-Line Maxx Paddle 3.3 x 6.2 # 1084 or 40 series Paddle # 1123

3. Any nitro burning engine .21 and Larger
