Superior Hobbies Announces R/C Monster Truck Three Month Sponsorship Program

July 1, 2006 – At a post race driver meeting Superior Hobbies announced a new three month R/C Monster Truck sponsorship program. This sponsorship is granted to new and old racers whose professionalism, creativity, sportsmanship and interest in the sport are commendable. This is a three month sponsorship with Superior Hobbies. Every three months Superior Hobbies will look at the talents of all the participating racers and select three racers for sponsorship.

The first three racers awarded sponsorship are; Gene Foust, Walter Cruz and Dustin Kelly.

• Gene Foust has been with R/C Monster Motorsports since its inception back in 2003. Gene’s talents in body painting and truck mechanics are outstanding. Recently, Gene was asked to create an R/C Monster Truck body for the Monster R/C USA 2007 Calendar.

• Walter Cruz is a new comer to R/C Monster Motorsports. His professionalism, attention to detail and racing skills were all contributing factors to being selected for the Superior Hobbies Three Month Sponsorship Program.

• Dustin Kelly was the winner of the 2006 R/C Monster Motorsports 2006 point series taking first place in Small Block Pulling and Side-by-Side racing events.
