Due to the large amount of interest generated for this event please register
ahead of time to secure your position today.
Pit space inside the Carolina’s R/C building will be limited due to the size of
the program. Pit space inside will be used on first come first serve basis.
Plenty of room is available outside the building for tents, tables and trailers.
Please be prepared to pit outside by bringing the proper pit space equipment.
The monster truck course has been the subject of many questions. Lipo batteries
will be allowed with the rules for each class of competition listed below.
Please see the below image of the proposed monster truck and scale-off track
layout.

Note that the brown area = carpet racing line, green area = infield /
freestyle area and the gray = scale-off area.
Please be advised this is subject to change without notice. We have also
revealed one of the obstacles for the freestyle program to be a race used
Firestone Terra tire, but there are more to come. Stay tuned!
Rule Updates
4wd Pro Modified – Brushed Solid Axle
-
Tamiya Clodbuster, Super Clodbuster, Juggernaut
1 & 2, TXT-1, or any custom built 4wd electric truck with solid differential
axles will run in one class unless otherwise specified by an RC Monster
Motorsports official.

Trucks must run 2 brushed type motors. (No
brushless motors) allowed.

Tires shall be any tire no smaller than: 5” x
3.5” wide. Any rubber Tread Type is permitted. Custom cut rubber tread
designs will be allowed.

14 cell for NiMH cells or a maximum nominal
voltage of 14.80v may be used for a Lipo.
4wd Pro Modified – Brushless Solid Axle
-

solid differential axles will run in one class unless otherwise specified by

Pro Modified 2.2” – Open Solid Axle

Axial Scorpion, Losi Comp Crawler, Venom Creeper
or any other production or custom built 4wd Electric Monster Truck with
solid axle suspension similar to the production trucks stated above run in
this class.

Trucks must run 1 brushless or brushed type
motors.

2.2” bead mounting diameter based tires no
smaller than 4.4” x 2” wide with any rubber tread type is permitted. Custom
cut rubber tread designs will be allowed.

6 cell for NiMH cells or a maximum nominal
voltage of 7.4v may be used for a Lipo comprised of a single 2 cell 7.4v
Lipo pack.
4wd Pro Modified – Open Independent
-
Traxxas E-Maxx, Traxxas E-Revo and Hotbodies E-Zilla
or any other production or custom built 4wd Electric Monster Truck with
independent type suspension similar to the production trucks stated above
run in this class.

Trucks must run 1 or 2 brushless type motors.

Tires shall be any tire no smaller than: 5” x 3”
wide. Any rubber Tread Type is permitted. Custom cut rubber tread designs
will be allowed.
