Drivers Get Geared Up for JConcepts Bash!

R/C Monster Motorsports Drivers were geared up for the final practice race before the JConcepts Bash in scheduled in December. A new How to Tech segment débuted at the Pre Bash warm up. Jason Ruona of JConcepts held a tech session on how to properly mount and glue an R/C tire. R/C Monster Motorsports will be making R/C Tech Sessions sponsored by JConcepts a permanent part of every racing program.

R/C Monster Motorsports also débuted our new die cast gold, silver, and bronze custom metals. Drivers were real excited to win these beauties.

Show N’ Shine Competition had Justin Pickels taking the first place spot with his Monster Energy Bodiless crawler. Miranda Jones took second place with her Chevy Bodied crawler. David Pickels took the third place spot with his Traxxas T-Maxx.

Judged Crawling Competition had Walter Waage getting the lowest score and taking the first place win with 50 points. Justin Pickels took the second place spot with 58 points. Matthew Tiller took the third place spot with a score of 67 points. Special thanks to Matthew for judging the Crawl competition.

Rock Cross Racing Competition had Matthew Tiller taking the win in the 10 lap A Main with a time of 2:57.149 @ 10 laps. Sherwin Diaz took the second place spot with a time of 2:50.657 @ 9 laps. Justin Pickels came in third.

Short Course Racing had Jimmie Cooper taking the first place spot with a time of 5:33.908 @ 15 laps. Paul Wynn took the place spot driving his Traxxas Slash topped with a JConcepts prototype Short Course body with a time of 5:34.413 @ 15 laps. Craig Lowe took the third place spot with a time of 5:37.067 @ 15 laps.

J82 Racing had JConcepts himself Jason Ruona taking the first place spot with a time of 4:33.829 @ 15 laps. Sherwin Diaz took the second place spot with a time of 4:37.612 @ 14 laps. Paul Winn took the third place spot.

Fred Reep President of R/C Monster Motorsports débuted his new JConcepts J82 (right). Fred’s JConcepts sponsored J82 was custom painted to match his 1993 Savage Racing Products RC10 (left).

1:10 Truck had Steve Cowles taking the first place spot with a time of 6:26 @ 15 laps. David Yeako took the second place spot with a time of 6:30.834 @ 15 laps. Click here for complete race results.
